SHIPPED | Double Dozen Valentine's Day Tulip Box
Skip the imported flowers this year and surprise your sweetheart with locally grown specialty tulips! These beautiful blooms were grown right here on the farm in our heated greenhouse.
This box includes 2 DOZEN specialty tulips. Expect doubles, ruffles, parrot type, and fringed blooms, in bright, cheery shades of pink, red, and white. Each box will include a few extra stems in the event that there is some damage during transit. Colors may vary due to crop availability at the time of shipping.
Custom Southern Flora Farm note cards will be handwritten and included in each box so be sure to write a note at checkout.
Tulips are harvested early and tightly budded so they ship well and give you more days in the vase. Expect to see these tulips stretch and dance in the vase over 7-10 days.
FLOWER CARE UPON ARRIVAL:
Remove packaging and rubber bands
Trim an inch off the stems using sharp, clean shears, at an angle (so that the stems don’t sit flat on the bottom of vase)
Clean your vase - it should be clean enough to drink out of
Fill 3/4 of the vase with water
Mix in the provided flower food packet
Remove an foliage beneath the waterline
Arrange your flowers in the vase and enjoy!
Repeat these steps every 3-4 days to maintain freshness
We will ship out our Valentine’s Day Tulip Bouquets on Tuesday February 11th for Wednesday February 12th delivery using FedEx Priority Overnight. FedEx will not deliver to PO Boxes. You will select your preferred ship date at checkout.
We advise ensuring your recipient will be home or consider sending to a work address, as well as signing up for SMS or email alerts with FedEx . We will send you a tracking number so that way you can notify your recipient the moment the flowers arrive! If you would like it to be a surprise, use your email during checkout to receive the tracking information.
