Our Winter Tulips include some incredible specialty varieties- such as doubles, ruffles, parrot-type, fringed, in every brilliant color of the rainbow. These are SO much more than the petite grocery store tulips and they’re grown right here in Middle Tennessee in our heated greenhouse. It doesn’t get any fresher than locally grown!
What’s included?
2 dozen organically grown tulips per box
6 boxes (1 box per week for 6 weeks)
Handwritten note card the first week (Valentine’s Day)
Billing
$75 per week (includes shipping costs)
Recurring payment for 6 weeks
Shipping Details
Shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight on Tuesdays, to arrive on Wednesdays. We will (very) likely begin shipping February 11 and end March 18. *We reserve the right to change these dates at any time, due to inclement weather or crop delays.
Custom Southern Flora Farm note cards will be handwritten and included in the first box so be sure to write a special message.
Tulips are harvested early and tightly budded so they ship well and give you more days in the vase. Expect to see these tulips stretch and dance in the vase over 7-10 days.
FLOWER CARE UPON ARRIVAL:
Remove packaging and rubber bands
Trim an inch off the stems using sharp, clean shears, at an angle (so that the stems don’t sit flat on the bottom of vase)
Clean your vase - it should be clean enough to drink out of
Fill 3/4 of the vase with water
Mix in the provided flower food packet
Remove an foliage beneath the waterline
Arrange your flowers in the vase and enjoy!
Repeat these steps every 3-4 days to maintain freshness
If purchasing as a gift:
We advise ensuring your recipient will be home or consider sending to a work address, as well as signing up for SMS or email alerts with FedEx . We will send you a tracking number so that way you can notify your recipient the moment the flowers arrive! If you would like it to be a surprise, use your email during checkout to receive the tracking information.
